About Lakeuden Ursa ry

Lakeuden Ursa ry is an astronomical association founded in 1994 in Southern Ostrobothnia, Finland, with 120 members. The association’s mission is to promote interest in space sciences and provide local residents with opportunities to explore the wonders of the night sky.

The association organizes public stargazing events, educational programs, and various public events, where current topics in astronomy and space sciences are presented. The facilities of Lakeuden Ursa ry offer an excellent environment for learning and exploring astronomy, serving school groups, students, and adult learners alike.
